Courier Delivery Conditions
1- The delivery service for goods purchased on our website will be carried out in collaboration with partner specialized courier companies with whom Spitzenklasse S.R.L has concluded a contract in this regard (at the moment, we have a contract with Cargus and Sameday for deliveries within Romania, and we have a contract with DHL for delivery in the EU and non-EU countries (within the European continent). This file will be updated if other contracts with other specialized courier companies have been signed).
2- In most cases, the delivery service is carried out by light vehicles such as 1.5-ton vehicles. Other larger vehicles (such as 3T,5T,7T) could be used for deliveries if the delivery location would allow for easy access, and safe and legal parking of partner specialist courier companies’ vehicles (as per followed policy).
3- The shipping cost is calculated according to the delivery area, the volume, and the total weight of the order. [Applies according to the physical (actual) weight of the delivery and the volumetric weight, which is calculated according to the formula: length x width x height (measured in centimeters)/6000]. If the weight or chargeable dimensions (length, width, height) of a delivery exceed the limits defined above, the specialized courier companies will apply the additional costs applicable for such a case. The minimum delivery cost, in the case of selecting the delivery option in a locker (within Romania), is 12 lei (to which additional VAT is added), in the case of standard shipping by courier (within Romania), it is 17.5 lei (to which additional VAT is added). The minimum delivery time varies from 1-7 days in general but, it could take longer if unforeseen or unexpected conditions occur such as severe weather or others.
4- Our customers will be informed of the total shipping cost to their destinations in the shopping cart and checkout pages.
5- If our website has allowed and added the option of payment on delivery, and our customers have chosen this payment option for their order, the maximum allowed values by our specialized partner courier companies for the declared value and, respectively, for cash on delivery, in the case of postal items subject to a declared value delivery service or the Cash on Delivery service are the following:
A)- 5,000.00 lei (for the cash-on-delivery service, with legal entities as recipients).
B)- 10,000.00 RON (for the cash-on-delivery service, with natural persons as recipients).
6-If we have added to our website the option of delivery to a locker of one or more of our specialized partners of a courier company, the cost for this option will be mentioned in our shopping cart and on the payment pages.
7- Our customers must ensure that they mention the detailed and accurate delivery address and contact details where the products are to be delivered.
8- For the delivery of the order, the specialized partner courier companies will inform our customers about the status of their shipment by any means of communication (telephone or in writing, e-mail, text message, or tracking website). Our specialized partner courier companies will make 1 (one) free attempt to deliver the order. If the order cannot be delivered (for example, the customer is not at home), the specialized partner courier companies will notify the customer and keep the package at the contact point, to hand it over to the customer, for a period of 5 (five) calendar days from the date of receipt of the notice by the addressee, storage that does not involve additional fees.
9- If the customer fails to receive the shipment according to the conditions mentioned in the previous paragraph, the customer will be charged the fees or costs generated by the return of the undelivered package at the standard rates provided by the partner specialized courier companies applicable at the time of the return.
10-For parcel deliveries to a different location than the one specified in the delivery address (and printed on the AWB), additional fees may be charged by partner specialized courier companies for forwarding the order. This will be communicated to customers by the specialized partner courier companies at the time of delivery.
11-The time and date of delivery will be communicated and shared with customers by the partner specialized courier companies after placing the order by e-mail, SMS, phone, tracking number, or others.
12-Products are delivered according to the courier’s working hours, from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00, a specialized cargo transport partner ensures deliveries on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) against additional fees, the proposed rates on the website do not include special weekend delivery rates. If the customer wants a weekend delivery, the customer can mention this in the “additional information” section during checkout and after placing the order, an additional invoice (for the additional weekend delivery cost) will be sent to the customer via e-mail, and once the customer makes the payment, the delivery will be arranged accordingly. For an easier experience for our customers, we will try to include a direct payment option for weekend deliveries at checkout in the near future.
13-Upon receiving the product, please present an identity document or PIN code or both to the representative of the courier company, if requested.
14-Force majeure: In situations of force majeure (floods, fires, earthquakes, snow, extreme weather conditions or restrictions by the authorities, impassable access roads, etc.) and/or delays caused by the fault of the customer (eg. the customer does not answer the phone to pick up the order, the delivery has been rescheduled at the customer’s request but no one is at home on the scheduled delivery date, etc.), we do not take responsibility for delays in the delivery of the goods, and in this case, we will have to reschedule the delivery.
15-If collection from our work point is available on the site, we will keep the order ready for collection by our customer upon receipt of the order, and the customer should provide us the detailed time and date for collection based on email communications, WhatsApp, and SMS.
16-The delivery will not contain dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted for transport.
